Kurt Carberry,
Company President
Kurt was born into radio.
His dad owned several radio stations throughout New England and some of Kurt’s first jobs included working on-air during holidays and weekends; the times no one else would work. This is what sparked his passion for radio and from there his passion grew as and he entered radio sales.
It is here at an early age he learned how to listen to a client. He learned when you listen to your client’s needs you can make radio work for them. Kurt strives to fit the best radio station with the right client, and combine that with the most effective creative.
He knows this is how you make a radio campaign a success. The combination of his passion for finding the”perfect fit” for his clients and his years experience in radio are what makes North Star Media such a success.
Outside the office Kurt raised horses, rode competitively. He loves the beach, boating, and traveling with his wife, two children, and their dog Finn. Kurt graduated with a BA in Communications and Psychology from Curry College.
